I have a lot of favorite artists because music is my life, and without it, I don’t even know who I am. But today, I will talk about my top favorites. The first artist I’m in love with is Billie Eilish. I started listening to her music in 2024, when her new album “Hit Me Hard and Soft” came out. I just really love her because of her unique voice and style. I also love how she expresses different emotions through her songs and how every song of hers has its own meaning. Her music is very special to me because I can listen to it in almost any mood, and I will never get tired of her. She is a perfect artist for teenagers because she understands us like no one else. I actually met her at her movie premiere. Me and my parents arrived at the spot five hours early so we could be at the front. She’s one of my favorites because she’s not afraid of being who she truly is. The next artist is BTS. I actually started listening to them this summer, when their new album “Arirang” dropped. They are a group that I really admire because of their talent, creativity, and the way they treat their fans. They are more than just a boy band to me. They inspire me to accept myself the way I am, and they represent kindness. Many people, especially in Armenia, hate on BTS, and they say that they look gay just because they wear stylish clothing and do skincare. But I strongly disagree with that opinion because I think that being manly cannot be determined by whether someone wears makeup, does skincare, or dresses stylishly or looks cute. I just like BTS because their music feels different to me. Another artist is Rex Orange County because his music really matches my personal style and taste. His songs often remind me of my childhood and give me a nostalgic feeling. Whenever I want to relax or just enjoy some peaceful time, his music is always my first choice because of its unique, or I would even say weird, sound and style. Although these artists have very different styles, they all mean something special to me, and I could never choose just one favorite.
